Logistics Bureau only collects personal information if it is necessary for business purposes. The information may be limited in the case of a visitor to our web site, or detailed where there is an existing client relationship.

  • Indirect collection from our website. We collect aggregate information on our site visitors through our site’s technology. When you access our web site, your Internet address is automatically collected and is placed in our Internet access log. We analyse this information to determine what is most effective about our site, to help us identify ways to improve it, and eventually, to determine how we can tailor to make it more effective. We may also use data for other purposes, which we would describe to you at the point we collect the information.
  • Direct collection from our website. We collect information when you voluntarily submit it to us. Throughout our site, we provide the opportunity to register for an event or conference, order a white paper, or participate in an online survey. When we collect this type of information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for information and how this information will be used. It is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.
  • Collection and use in relation to recruitment. If you send us a Resume or CV in order to apply for a position with our company, we will use the information that you provide to assess your application against any requirements we have. We do not share personal information with third parties, except as necessary to conduct our recruitment process or as required by law. If your application is deemed unsuccessful, your Resume or CV is destroyed after 12 months. Personal and sensitive information may also be collected if we receive a reference about you; results of inquiries that we might make of your former employers, or results of any competency tests. This information will be used in connection with possible employment with our company.
  • Collection and use in relation to our business. We also collect information about clients and potential clients in order that we are able to provide a service to our clients. Any use of this information would be in accordance with your directions. We may also use contact information to market our related services, however you may elect not to receive further marketing information by contacting our Marketing Department via our web site. Internally, we have controls and procedures to protect the confidentiality of confidential information.
  • The use of Cookies. We collect information directly from you through the use of cookies. Cookies are small files of information that saves and retrieves information about your visit to – for example, how you entered our site, how you navigated through the site, and what information was of interest to you. The cookies we use identify you merely as a number. Will we share information with outside parties?
